Progress Michigan Deputy Director Sam Inglot said educators are also walking on eggshells as a result of his policies, and anti-union legislation could hurt the Florida working class.
He was joined by Andrew SPAR, president of the Florida Education Association, who said there are over 5,200 teaching vacancies in Florida, with over 4,000 vacancies for support staff.
“Here in Florida today, every school is a hard to staff school,” Spar said, referencing policies that limit what classes students can take relating to diversity and if teachers can spend their paycheck on union dues.
