The group Florida Watch has criticized DeSantis’ policies for years and appears ready to go national with concerns, setting up press conferences with media in states when DeSantis’ book tour has rolled into town. The group sent a media advisory ahead of DeSantis’ launch attacking him for prioritizing his agenda over solving issues like Florida’s property insurance crisis.
“While Floridians work hard to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table, Ron DeSantis is abandoning our state to advance his own political ambitions,” said DeSantis Watch Constituencies Director Natasha Sutherland.
