We talk with Anders Croy, Communications Director for Florida Watch and DeSantis Watch.We discuss the problems homeowners are facing to pay homeowners insurance premiums, which have skyrocketed in Florida. There has been a 125% increase in the last five years, and 41% in since last year. Many homeowners, if they can, avoid paying for this insurance. This is in the midst of the climate-cased disasters. (hurricanes, floods, etc.) Insurance companies cannot be sued if Florida, and often do not pay out the cost of rebuilding. The insurance lobby is very strong, and the governor supports their activities.
