As Governor Ron DeSantis hit the trail on his nationwide presidential campaign in May, Florida taxpayers reached deep into their pockets to fund protection for the governor and his family.
“Americans need real solutions to the real issues they’re facing, not fake tough guy bravado that is clearly meant to appeal to the same right-wing extremists who helped incite an insurrection against our nation,” Anders Croy, spokesperson for the progressive organization DeSantis Watch, told the Phoenix by email.
The progressive-backed DeSantis Watch released a video pointing to nation-leading inflation, housing costs, and insurance rates.
