DeSantis Watch Debuts “Crashing” Digital Video Highlighting the Governor’s Failing Campaign

As Governor Ron DeSantis prepares for the second Republican presidential primary debate tomorrow night in California, his campaign remains in a state of free fall. In addition to crashing and burning in the Republican primary, the FiveThirtyEight polling average shows Governor DeSantis’ favorability is now fourteen points underwater with a general election audience as voters have learned about his extreme position on banning abortion, the affordability crisis he has created in Florida, and have just generally gotten to know him

In order to highlight the Governor’s failures, DeSantis Watch, a project of DW PAC, has released a new digital video titled “Crashing” which outlines all the ways in which Ron DeSantis has dropped in the polls while delivering a historically bad showing as a presidential candidate.

“Like pudding dropped on pavement, the Ron DeSantis campaign is a massive mess and impossible to clean up,” said DeSantis Watch Communications Director Anders Croy. “The more voters have seen of Ron DeSantis, the less they have liked, which isn’t surprising given that most Americans don’t support banning abortion or books. It’s time for Ron DeSantis to stop sticking his fingers where they don’t belong, end his ego driven vanity campaign for president, and come home to fix the affordability crisis in Florida that he created in the state still paying his six-figure taxpayer-funded salary.”
