As Governor Ron DeSantis hit the trail on his nationwide presidential campaign in May, Florida taxpayers reached deep into their pockets to fund protection for the governor and his family.
Today, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement released their yearly report detailing the costs associated with providing protection for Governor Ron DeSantis.
“Americans need real solutions to the real issues they’re facing, not fake tough guy bravado that is clearly meant to appeal to the same right-wing extremists who helped incite an insurrection against our nation,” Anders Croy, spokesperson for the progressive organization DeSantis Watch, told the Phoenix by email.
