Today, DeSantis Watch, a joint effort of Florida Watch and Progress Florida, has launched a new website imprint branded as Influence Watch to help the public hold Governor Ron DeSantis accountable.
Later this evening, Governor Ron DeSantis will be speaking at a closed press political fundraiser for the Alachua County Republican Party outside Gainesville, home to the University of Florida.
The DeSantis Watch group unveiled Monday its latest criticism of the incumbent.
“As a first-generation American, I’m appalled to see the governor’s cheap political stunt luring migrants, including families and children, with false promises of aid which does nothing to address the reasons folks are coming in the first place.
